Anchor Inspection

When anchors are missing or are not properly positioned next to a tie, then they are not able to perform their intended task of resisting longitudinal movement of the rails and thus identifying and inspecting anchor position is also an important railway inspection task.

Pavemetrics' LRAIL simplifies the anchor inspection task by using Artificial Intelligence to analyze both 2D and 3D data in order to more accurately detect anchors and can determine how close they are to the nearest tie and what the anchor pattern is, highlighting areas where a tie is not fully boxed by anchors.
