1 mm resolution over a full 4 m lane width.
Collects up to 45 million points per second at up to 100 km/h.
Combines 2D images, 3D profiles, GPS and IMU for unmatched accuracy.
Automatically generates breaklines, curbs, edges, slopes, crossfall and more.
Built on Pavemetrics' widely deployed LCMS® platform, with 100+ units worldwide.
The Pavemetrics® Laser Digital Terrain Mapping System (LDTM) uses advanced laser line projectors, high-speed cameras, and optics to acquire high-resolution 3D profiles of the road surface. Combined with GPS and inertial measurement units (IMUs), the system corrects for vehicle motion and accurately geo-references every scan.
In one pass, the LDTM simultaneously acquires 2D imagery and 3D point cloud data—seamlessly merging them into a high-accuracy digital terrain map.
Generates accurate breaklines directly from 3D data.
Identifies all key roadway features in a single pass.
Works reliably regardless of lighting conditions.
Efficient design optimized for survey vehicles.
Captures millimeter-scale detail across the full lane.
Provides complete geometric parameters of the roadway.
Delivers survey-grade elevation maps.
Captures up to 45 million points per second.
Ensures dense, high-resolution coverage.
Provides precise detail across the entire 4 m lane width.
